The Modul Brand Award has been established in 2016 to distinguish the most innovative Hotel Operation focusing on the fastest growing group of consumers: Millennials.

This group wields increasing power and economic influence in all corners of the business world, and the global hospitality industry is no exception. As a group, Millennials and their buying power have become a fascinating challenge.

The leading question for the 2019 project is related to the travel habits and the requirements for the perfect luxury stay for this generation:

What is the most attractive luxury hotel brand for Millennials?

What does it take for luxury hotels to capture Millennials? Do traditional luxury brands best serve this new consumer group? Are there new concepts on the horizon to excite Millennials? Gucci and Louis Vuitton are Millennials’ favourite brands, according to a survey and social-media data analysed by UBS. Let’s see which hotel brands are the right ones for Millennials.

Already for the 4th time students of the Modul University Vienna will present the findings and final results to the audience of the International Hotel Investment Conference on November 7th 2019 www.viennaconferences.com, at the Hotel Andaz Vienna am Belvedere. The Award Presentation has become an integrated part of the conference and shows the capacity of the University to combine academic studies with current demands of the industry. The Project is supervised by a team of hospitality professionals and by the dean.
