Bernard Lambert is a globaly renowned hotelier with significant experience in the hotel and leisure sector across multiple continents.
From 2002 until 2012, Bernard Lambert was the Chief Executive Officer and Advisor to the board of directors of Societe Des Bains De Mer, Monte Carlo (Euronext Paris, SBM) a US$ 1.0 billion market cap France -listed hotel owner and operator whose major shareholder is the principality government of Monaco. During his 10 year tenure at Societe Des Bains De Mer (SBM Monte Carlo), Bernard presided over some of the most renowned casinos, luxury hotels, and restaurants in the world. Bernard also participated in the company’s enormously successful 2003 investment in the capital of Wynn Resorts, the US listed Casino owner and operator.
Bernard is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts where he successfully transformed a french regional Brand with 52 hotels into a leading global luxury brand with over 120 in more than 50 countries. Bernard developed and maintains extensive relationships throughout Europe, the Middle East and North and South America with owners, operators and investors in the sector.
Since then Bernard sits on a few boards, investment committees, advises groups and individuals and investors, in the hospitality.
In 2000, Bernard was recognized as “corporate Hotelier Of The World” and ind 2001 he received a life time achievement award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
Bernard is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Italian and maintains a working level comprehension of German and Spanish.
