Haya Molcho loves to cook and to travel. Born in Tel Aviv, many relocations followed; she was always on the move – as a child with her parents, as an adult – alone, and later with her husband, pantomime Samy Molcho. Cooking is Haya’s biggest passion. During her journeys she became acquainted with the world’s cuisines and developed her unique culinary style, typically Israeli and international at the same time.
In March 2009 she and her sons opened the NENI at the Viennese Naschmarkt – the rest is a success story. “Tel Aviv. Food – People – Stories”, is her latest cookbook, in which she not only shares the recipes of her homeland, but also lets the inhabitants of the city speak and captures Tel Aviv’s unique way of life.
