Lukas opened the Vienna office of Christie & Co in 2010 and has been responsible for the successful expansion and growth of the company in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. In 2017 he was appointed Managing Director Northern and Central Europe with the aim of strengthening and growing the brand in European core markets such as Germany and Scandinavia with regard to hotel transactions.

Before joining Christie & Co, Lukas worked at KPMG Real Estate, Leisure & Tourism CEE in Budapest. He successfully completed more than 100 advisory mandates including valuations across Europe, feasibility studies, market and product analysis as well as operator searches and hotel transactions. Prior to this he worked as Development Manager for RIMC, a hotel management company in Hamburg, where he gained in-depth knowledge of the German hotel market.

Besides having worked on Germany/Austria/Switzerland as well as CEE, Lukas also gained oversees experience in places such as the Caribbean or the USA. He holds a degree in Tourism Management & Leisure Industry from the University of Applied Sciences IMC Krems as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate from Danube University Krems. Lukas is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer.
